Emma B.

My name is Emma Burstein and I’m a junior at North Eugene High School. I’m lucky to have become increasingly aware of political issues in the past few years, and I realized that even as one high school student, I could make a change when I interned on a local Congressman’s campaign. I joined Criminal Justice Caucus because our criminal justice system needs substantial reform, especially in its treatment of disenfranchised youth. I intend to be part of the generation that pioneers this reform.
