Hi, my name is Eliza Black, and I’m currently in tenth grade at South Eugene High School. I’m interested in legislation and programs protecting and uplifting the rights of minority and disadvantaged groups: women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, diverse ethnic and religious rights, and all others not supported enough by Oregon and U.S. law. I also feel strongly about the necessity of working towards the prevention of climate change, as well as  providing every kid and teenager like me with access to the opportunities they need to succeed - every kid should feel represented, protected, and supported by the law. I’m so excited to work with the community and make positive change happen with YDLC.
